The Community Foundation of the Ozarks awarded $50,000 for its first Community Innovation grants to six organizations, as part of this year's Metropolitan Springfield grant-making cycles to address red-flags, early childhood, innovations and senior issues.
The Center City Christian Outreach Inc. is one of the grant recipients with $10,000 to renovate and improve accessibility for the "Well of Life" program.
