A local family is hoping that their tragedy can help save the lives of others.

That’s why the Joyce, Kylie and Olivia Bunn Fire Safety Fund has been started at the Fremont Area Community Foundation (NE).

Joyce Bunn, 41, and her daughters Kylie, 3, and Olivia, 2, were killed in a February house fire.

The donor advised fund was started with memorial contributions from friends of the family and community members in response to their deaths, said Kristine Gale, executive director of the Fremont Area Community Foundation.
