Community Action Partnership names new members to Board of Directors

Dee Lacey of Paso Robles, Mary Anne Reiss of Pismo Beach and Gary Jordan of Paso Robles have been named to the Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County (CAPSLO) Board of Directors. She has served on the boards of the Paso Robles City Library and recreation foundations, as well as the San Luis Obispo County Community Foundation and the Paso Robles Childrens Museum. She has a long-time commitment to community education that extends back to the early 1980s when she was a member of the Paso Robles Public School Board. In that capacity, Lacey served on the 2006 Economic Strategy Task Force of Paso Robles and she was a founding member of the Paso Robles based non-profit, Recreation Enhances Community (REC) Foundation.

In addition to service as President of the Board of Directors for the San Luis Obispo Community Foundation, she also serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the California Mid-State Fair. While working in local government, she was awarded a resolution of appreciation by the San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG) and San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority (SLORTA) for her an advocacy role on the SLOCOG & SLORTA Boards as a member of the Rails Committee, Coast Rail Coordinating Council, and the Los Angeles-San Diego-San Luis Obispo Rail Corridor Agency (LOSSAN) since 2005.
