This article started out by stating the increase in donations to non-profits and social services organization in anticipation of decreased in funding with the upcoming administration.
The article went on to focus on an alternative method to the traditional non-profits by introducing the innovation of social enterprising. Social enterprising erase the distinct line between a traditional business and a charity. It serves to address a social mission through enterprise. Social entrepreneurs try various business models to get solid results.
The article focused on a few successful social entrepreneurs that have had large impacts with their social missions. Many of them work with municipalities in order to aid in having such a large impact. Many of the social entrepreneurs are involved in housing and health care initiatives that involved regular civilians and veterans alike who are experiencing various life experiences.
