Social Innovation Activators program

Simon Fraser University's RADIUS (RADical Ideas, Useful to Society) lab initiated its Social Innovation Activators program in November 2015. The purpose of the program is to lead the University's campaign for social innovation across all campuses and in many different capacities.

The ideal candidate is someone who is a self-starter, committed to social innovation and entrepreneurship, and willing to learn a variety of skills. Activators will be empowered with a wide range of resources including funds, technology, and networks. Additionally, candidates will receive on the job training in survey methods and analytical skills.

The time commitment required is between 2 to 4 hours per week. The position itself is analytical in nature with a heavy concentration on interviewing and data collection. Initially, the work was expected to run from January 2016 through December 2016.

Plans for the future are continuing.
