Grant Purpose - This grant provides continued general purpose support to the Alliance for Nonprofit Management to strengthen nonprofit support centers and others that deliver management and governance support services to nonprofit organizations throughout the United States. The organization has grown its membership to over 1,100, and those members are able to reach over 250,000 nonprofits each year. Over the coming grant period, the organization will again co-sponsor an annual conference with the National Council of Nonprofit Associations, target its membership marketing campaign, expand its Cultural Competency Initiative to include diversity factors other than race, and learn extensively about issues critical to the capacity-building field.
