Organization - CHIME Institute Grant Amount - $41,750 Foundation - California Community Foundation Grant Purpose - Two-year capacity building support for CHIME Charter Elementary School's Woodland Hills-based quality 'inclusive education' program for 325 children ages 5 to 11, with and without disabilities. Similar Grants Los Angeles Orphans Home Society - $75,000 from the California Community Foundation - Two-year support for a literacy program serving 70 abused children, ages 6 to 13, who have special needs and/or learning disabilities. Junior Blind of America - $80,000 from the California Community Foundation - One-year project support to launch its Vision Screening Program to screen 2,500 preschool and elementary school children, identify children with potential vision problems and ensure access to proper follow-up care in the Centinela Valley.
