$587,944 was awarded to 13 community grants by the Central Virginia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure for breast cancer screening, treatment and education programs for uninsured or underinsured women.
The central Virginia grantees were selected by an independent grant review panel according to executive director Linda Tiller.
