The Petaluma Community Foundation held its fourth annual Community Celebration and the event was renamed the Denny Murray Grant Awards and Community Celebration in honor of J.D. "Denny" Murray, a trustee of the foundation who died recently.
The foundation's goal is to help nonprofits meet the needs of youth, families and seniors in Petaluma by providing grant funding, and the event honored the commitment and generosity of local nonprofits, community members and businesses, in addition to raising needed funds for local nonprofits.
