The Community Foundation for Calderdale raised £15,000 which will be used for emergency relief operations for community groups and individuals affected by the floods. £10,000 of the money came as a donation from their general funds, while £5,000 were donated from the public and businesses.
The money was used to purchase dehumidifiers, mops, buckets, and other cleaning equipment for the 900 properties that were affected.
