When John Paulson pledged $100 million dollars in donation for the upkeep of the Central Park Conservancy in New York City, its larger city park counterparts have something to grumble about. Large NY parks like the Flushing Meadows-Corona in Queens gets little funding to match its maintenance expenses.
Grants for NY large parks are not so much as attractive as the one often shelled out for Central Park. Grass seems greener on the other side.
