The Northern New York Community Foundation recently approved a $10,000 grant to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County.
The grant will go towards the extension’s Adopting Healthy Habits initiative, with a core focus of tackling childhood obesity, through multiple local agencies and schools that devise programs to help encourage healthy lifestyles.
