Ventura County Community Foundation is currently accepting proposals from local nonprofit groups to support afterschool programs for disadvantaged youth.
The 2013-2014 funding focuses on programs that cater to low-income students. The priority is afterschool programming, such as tutoring, homework assistance, academic enrichment and arts programs for kindergarten through eighth-graders.
