Steve Moilanen, a social entrepreneur, shares his experiences on getting free legal help for social entrepreneurs.
Moilanen stresses that it's not about how to avoid needing legal help but how to get the right legal help.
In his post, Moilanen walks through five different options that will help social enterprise do just that.
His list tackles: 1) Legal clinics at law schools; 2) Friends and family; 3) Pro bono practices at major law firms; 4) Deferring payment at a major law firm; and 5) Getting plugged in through an incubator.
Moilanen adds that getting the right legal help needs "a little creativity and a lot of elbow grease."
