The town of Selma Parks and Recreation Department has been provided a $5,000 grant from the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina Foundation.
The grant will fund the purchase of kitchen area appliances and cooking utensils in the newly renovated Harrison Center for Active Aging. Through the grants, the Center will be able to improve its service and provide nutritious lunches to seniors in the community.
