It's that time of year again: time for residents of Delta, British Columbia, to apply for neighborhood small grants to fund community projects.
The North Delta Reporter reports the Delta Community Foundation, in partnership with the Vancouver Foundation and the City of Delta, has been accepting grant applications for the past three years.
Residents themselves decide which projects to fund, and last year's winners focused on community bonding, giving back, care packages, protecting the environment, and health and wellness, as well as COVID-friendly greetings and gifts for neighbors.
The applications are being accepted from March 15 to April 30.
