"Recharging is certainly necessary, but for many teachers and students this includes summer education activities," says the director of Rice University's Glasscock School of Continuing Studies.
The school is offering more than 2,000 summer programs for both teachers and students, including courses for aspiring writers, health care practitioners, and aerospace engineers, the Houston Chronicle reports.
"To expose them all to the excellence of Rice is truly exciting," the dean says.
