Five organizations receive $20000 grants

Five county organizations were recipients of $20,000 Ripley County Community Foundation Sally Morris Community Impact Grants. They included the Batesville Area Resource Center, Batesville Community Fire Association, Morris Volunteer Fire Association, Southeast Indiana Health Center and Tyson Activity Center.A

Streator encouraged community members to support these five organizations, as well as other nonprofits, and their upcoming fundraisers because some of the proceeds will go toward the matching grants.A

a The Batesville Fire & Rescue Department will have a stillboard shoot March 8, festival in July and possibly a gun raffle and stillboard shoot in the fall.A
