At Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center , home to three Nobel laureates, interdisciplinary teams of world-renowned scientists seek new and innovative ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases. An independent, nonprofit research institute based in Seattle, Fred Hutch houses the nation’s first and largest cancer prevention research program, as well as the clinical coordinating center of the Women’s Health Initiative and the international headquarters of the HIV Vaccine Trials Network.

The Philanthropic Gifts Advisor serves on the Development team and reports to the Director, Philanthropic Gifts. The Philanthropic Gifts Advisor will manage a personal portfolio of individuals and family foundations and will be called upon to engage and collaborate with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC) leadership staff, faculty and volunteers as required. The Philanthropic Gifts Advisor must be able to effectively communicate the mission, values and scope of the institution. Partner with the Philanthropic Gifts team to develop and implement strategies for gifts of $50,000 and above
