Bethesda Park District Board discusses Natureworks Grant – News – ThisWeek Community News – Lewis Center, OH

The park board thanked Dirk Davis for having the public works crew construct and install the new picnic tables in the park.

Burkhead discussed the Natureworks Grant application and stated that the board needed to pass an inter-agency agreement to work in cooperation with the Village of Bethesda on the bridge replacement project. Jim Ellis made a motion to enter into an inter-agency agreement with the Village of Bethesda for the Natureworks Grant and Bridge Replacement Project, seconded by Jim Patron. Burkhead asked the board to pass a motion to allow him to prepare a certification of funds for the Natureworks grant after he received the final quote from the people who are going to perform the work. Debbie Mason made a motion to allow Burkhead to prepare the certification of funds and to determine the park boards match, seconded by Jim Patron.

The park board discussed the events for the pave the trail event day which include a pirate treasure hunt, carnival games, laser tag, petting zoo, crafts, food, corn hole tournament, live music, vendor show, funnel cakes, Chinese auctions, gift card boards, and a 50/50.
