The Skoll Foundation awards organizations who have developed new solutions that challenge the establishment. The Foundation's $1.25 million worth of awards that were presented at the 13th Annual Skoll World Forum.
The six recipients of the awards honors innovations in legal empowerment, violence and abuse and health treatments in developing worlds. Entrepreneurs Bryan Stevenson, Chuck Slaughter, Mallika Dutt, Sonali Khan, Oren Yakobovich, and Vivek Maru are a select group of social entrepreneurs whose proven innovations are upsetting an unjust and flawed system and have developed a proven impact on some of the world's most pressing problems.
The Skoll awards are helping to change the world by empowering these individuals to develop more programs that will help others build a better life.
