The Washington and Lee University was awarded with a $700,000 grant by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for the establishment of a new Mellon Junior faculty Fellows Program in the Humanities.
The grant will be able to bring post-doctorate scholars to the University for mentored experience for preparation of their independent careers. The grant will also be used to help reshape course offerings.
