The plans to house the space shuttle Endeavour at the California Science Center have received a boost with a donation from the Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Oschin Family Foundation.
The gift brings it nearly to the halfway mark in a $200-million campaign to raise funds to transport the Endeavour to California from Florida and build a temporary pavilion and a permanent new wing to house the retired spacecraft.
