Grants up to $5,000 from the Northland Foundation are being offered to help small businesses repair damages, and replace equipment and inventory and help them get back up and running after the flood.
One of the recipients was Lou's Rustic Diner in Barnum which sustained nearly $100,000 in damage and was then awarded with a $5,000 grant from the Northland Foundation.
