The Flint Institute of Music (FIM) held a Mid-Michigan Band and Orchestra Day that brings together 16 bands and orchestras to the city.
The event was made possible through the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation who funded the event valued at $17,500. The event aims to bring young people in the area to Flint’s Cultural Center (FCC) and the resources available to them and their families.
