Grant Purpose - This grant renewal will provide general purpose support to the Resource Center, a local agency that provides volunteer and information services in Flint and Genesee County. The agency was formed in 1997 through the merger of several long-standing local entities: Leadership Flint, the Flint Executive Service Corps, and the United Way's Voluntary Action Center and First Call for Help services. The Resource Center's mission is to "mobilize people and resources to creatively solve community problems." Continued general purposes support will help the Resource Center address the community's volunteer and information services needs.
