Nonprofits in 23 Theisen's stores in Iowa and Wisconsin are invited to apply for grants of up to $5,000 through July 31 to help "keep families and communities strong and healthy," the company says.
The grants, totaling $350,000, will be awarded through the Theisen's charitable fund and a partnership with the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque, per the Des Moines Register.
The maximum request per project is $5,000.
"Each year, we are proud to support organizations providing necessities to keep families and communities strong and healthy," says CEO Chris Theisen.
Theisen's has given $3.4 million through its "More Your Community" grant program since its inception in 2009, per the Register.
