MDJ Online reports that the Cobb Community Foundation Board of Directors voted Tommy Allegood to be its executive director.
Previously, Sue Wootton has been the face of the Cobb Community Foundation as its executive director and lone paid staff member but gives the position up to make it up to her family.
The foundation operates as a type of umbrella 501(c)3 organization for donor funds and give out to those in need, even to those outside of Cobb's borders.
