The Human Interaction Research Institute of Encino was among the nonprofit organizations that were included in the grant-giving of the Los Angeles-based California Community Foundation. The foundation had awarded more than $5.1 million in grants to various organizations in the county.
Encino was awarded with a $50,000 grant to help in their program for the usage of behavioral sciences in handling innovation and change among nonprofit organizations.
