The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation gave a $2.3 million grant for College Hill, for the "innovation corridor" leveraging Mercer University's faculty and students to support entrepreneurs in the area.
Mercer President William Underwood said that with the grant, they will build on their past success in implementing the College Hill master plan while joining with Jumpstart America to ramp up the job creation component of the initiative's mission.
