The Consumers Energy Foundation distributes $213,475 to 424 non-profit organizations across the state.
The foundation is the charitable arm of Consumers Energy, a natural gas and electricity provider in Michigan. The allocated funds will enable the nonprofits to continue their operations of giving back to their communities. Funding for the grants comes from Consumer Energy’s shareholder exchequer.
