The Cherokee Preservation Foundation has awarded $1,066,685 for its Spring 2014 grants.
A total of 20 recipients have received the grant funding - many are museums, land trusts, educational institutions and programs, and economic development offices and committees. With the funding, the foundation seeks to bolster the quality of life for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) and the surrounding region.
