If you're in a trailer park in Minnesota, you may want to consider moving to a manufactured home.
Thanks to a $245,000 grant from the state, residents will be able to learn how to make their homes more energy efficient, as well as how to take advantage of federal incentives for clean energy, the St.
Paul Pioneer Press reports.
The grants, awarded by the Clean Energy Resource Teams group, will fund 45 energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in communities where households spend more than 5% of their annual income on energy costs.
"Underserved communities include Minnesota populations with high energy burdens, where households spend more than 5% of their annual income on energy costs," CERTs co-director Joel Haskard says in a press release.
"These projects support efforts across Minnesota to advance a cleaner, more equitable, resilient Minnesota for the future."
