Adenike Ogunlesi: Pioneering Children'S Fashion with Ruff N Tumble'S Success Story

When Adenike Ogunlesi made her children's PJs, she didn't think much about how she'd use the moneyor how she'd spend it.

Instead, she thought about how she could make a positive impact on the world.

That's why the founder of Ruff n Tumble, a Nigerian children's clothing brand, has been named one of the world's most promising entrepreneurs by the World Economic Forum, CNBC reports.

The 42-year-old, who started the company when she was a single mother of four, says she decided to start the business after seeing a gap in the market for high-quality PJs for children in her home country.

Today, Ruff n Tumble has more than 100 stores in 15 countries, and Ogunlesi says she's focused on making children's clothing that's stylish and comfortable.

"I want them to be happy," she says.

"I don't want them to grow up to be criminals.

I want them to be good citizens of the world."

In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, Ogunlesi says she's also focused on making a positive impact in her country.
