Climate Consortium Calls for Interdisciplinary Climate Solutions Proposals

"The urgency of the climate crisis demands innovative discoveries in research and the seamless integration of these solutions into our daily lives," Erica Smithwick, director of Penn State's Climate Consortium, says in a press release.

The university is now accepting proposals for "team projects that put proven climate solutions into action through interdisciplinary partnerships," the release notes.

The deadline to submit a proposal is Sept.

Penn State faculty members are eligible to submit a proposal as principal investigator.

"Their mission is to design climate-intelligent solutions that are both fair and just for all and ensure the long-term well-being of both humanity and the environment," the release notes.
