Students at West Virginia's Parkersburg High School will soon be able to grow their own food.
The school foundation is planning to install a 16-foot-by-20-foot greenhouse at the school, the Charleston Gazette-Mail reports.
"We are thrilled to be able to support our teachers this year and meet the needs of the entire campus by kicking off the Greenhouse Project," Jeff Thomas, president of the foundation, said in a statement.
"Each year, these grants help the teachers bring new and exciting learning opportunities to our classrooms, and we couldn't do it without the support of our local community during Give Local MOV, a 24-hour giving event, will take place on Tuesday, May 7."
