"We said you know what, let's make more attractive playground spaces in this area of destination playground," Tim Kazmierczak, the Door County Parks manager, tells NBC News of John Miles Park in Sturgeon Bay, Wis.
The nearly $250,000 project, which was four years in the making, includes impact-resistant swings, ramps, and other equipment for kids of all ages.

The money for the playground came from a room tax generated by tourists in the county, reports Door County Media.
