Henry Kress received the Le Sueur Community Foundation’s 2015 leadership award.

Luckily for a community like Le Sueur, people like Henry Kress are around to tend to both.

The husband, father of three, and grandfather of four is still very active in the community and was chosen by the Le Sueur Community Foundation for its 2015 leadership award.

Wilson, along with co-chair Todd Coryell and the other members of the foundation board, chose Kress for the annual award presented to a “community leader that shows reverence and dedication to the Le Sueur community over time.”

His leadership is illustrated at the library in Le Sueur (as well as in Le Center, St.

He’s an active senior and the only real proof of his older status comes from his 75 years and a 2009 award given to him by Le Sueur County for “Senior of the Year.”

He got a position at Le Sueur Incorporated, and he never looked back, earning a management position and working there for over 30 years.A

Kress may not be a native of Le Sueur, but he is as embedded into the community as anyone.
