The Bloomfield Hills Schools Foundation gala raised funds for mini-grants for innovative programs. The Bloomfield Hills School Foundation hosted its inaugural gala March 20 at the Pine Lake Country Club. aThis Bloomfield Hills Foundation Gala is involving the community in raising money to supplement the money provided by the state.a

The executive director of the BHSF, Cathy Badalamenti, said: aThis event brings together parents, alumni, staff and friends to celebrate our schools and raise money for the BHSF mini-grant program. I have used it successfully with my group and the whole school will use it during the 2015-16 school year.a

Marnie Diem, a third-grade teacher at Conant Elementary School, was able to obtain computers and a 3D printer for her students.

aThey have mastered many skills,a she said.



UK will be celebrating its first national celebration of social enterprises dubbed as Social Saturday. World famous celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, who founded the Fifteen restaurant chain.
