CHICAGO, May 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The Fifth Third Foundation has announced a $10,000 grant awarded to the American Red Cross to assist disaster relief efforts for victims of the damage caused by the recent tornadoes in Northern Illinois. Established in 1948, the Fifth Third Foundation was the first philanthropic foundation established by a financial institution.
