Research Office Requests Proposals for 2016 Arts and Humanities Seed Grants

For the fourth consecutive year, the Office of Vice Provost for Research and Economic Development at the University of Arkansas will award faculty research grants through its Arts and Humanities Seed Funding Program.

The funded projects are intended to enrich the research and professional growth of the faculty member and the U of A and result in new opportunities for research or other creative endeavors.

The panel will discuss the reviews and develop a recommendation for funding to the vice provost for research and economic development.

Three social enterprises were recognized at the 2013 President’s Challenge Social Enterprise Award for their major contributions to society. SATA CommHealth and Bliss Restaurant landed Social Enterprise of the Year titles, while Bettr Barista Coffee Academy bagged the award for Social Enterprise Start-up of the Year.
