Arts Council offering grants – MyEasternShoreMD: Arts

CENTREVILLE a The Queen Anneas County Arts Council is now accepting applications for 2016/17 Arts in Education and Community Arts Development Grants. Each year the Arts Council makes AIE awards to support programming in Queen Anneas County schools through the AIE Grant and to community organizations through the CAD Grant.

Since 1984 the local Arts council has awarded more than $650,000 in support of the arts in Queen Anneas County.

Queen Anneas County Executive Director Belinda Cook said, aIam looking forward to the opportunity to provide support to some of the wonderful art based non-profit organizations and groups we have here in Queen Anneas County.

These awards are made possible in part by funding from the Maryland State Arts Council, Queen Anneas County and the Town of Centreville. Anyone with questions regarding the application process is urged to call the Queen Anneas County Arts Council at 410-758-2520.
