Cleveland Foundation Announces $16.8 Million in Grants

The Cleveland Foundation has announced grants totaling $16.8 million, bringing its first-quarter grantmaking total to $21.3 million.

Many of the foundation’s March grants were awarded in support of programs designed to create stronger, healthier neighborhoods, including a grant of $5 million to Cleveland Neighborhood Programs in support of that organization’s new emphasis on people-based strategies within the city’s Community Development Corporation network, and a grant of $425,000 to the Cleveland Housing Network in support of its efforts to build strong families and vibrant neighborhoods.
