Good News: Impact Awards honor community members

The Reno/Tahoe Chapter of the National Association for Catering and Events, an event industry-based membership group, is honoring five people who have helped garner positive exposure for Reno at the inaugural Impact Awards of Northern Nevada on April 8 at Silver Legacy Resort Casino.

aWith membership support a many of whom are donating their time and resources to organize this event a the Impact Awards will showcase some unique special event trends to our region,a said Executive Director of Sales & Marketing for Creative Coverings and Event Organizer Kate Patay.

Formerly known as Butterfly Wishes, the Impact Awards recognizes community members who have gone above-and-beyond to promote the region.



Vertical farms are designed in a way to avoid the pressing issues about growing food crops in drought-and-disease-prone fields miles away from the population centers in which they will be consumed.
