Turpel helps increase community gardens, school gardens and farm-to-school access in the county.

aThe ultimate goal is to not only give Chelsea community members a place to grow and have fresh produce, but to gather and relax in a beautiful environment,a Turpel said.

Some of the produce grown in the garden will be served in a weekly meal provided by Cafe of Life, Chelsea.
