Sunday’s Child announces grant finalists

Since receiving a grant of more than $33,000 from Sunday’s Child last year, the Legal Services of NorthA Florida hasA provided trainingA on school bullying and domestic violenceA toA local schools, counselors, law enforcement and otherA agencies.

The grant allowed the nonprofit, which provides legal services to those in danger of becoming homeless, to add an educational component to its offerings in hopes of preventing civil cases from escalating into criminal cases.

“Our goal was to share what the legal obligations are of those serving children or other victims of domestic violence,” said Leslie Powell, deputy director.A “Our goal has not been to change hearts and minds or belief systems.



Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
