RANGELEY Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust has announced that David Miller of Portland is the new executive director.

He has served in the public and private sectors in various program, fundraising and leadership levels and brings a wealth of experience and perspective to the organization. He is the co-founder of Educo International Alliance, an alliance of NGOs focused on wilderness-based youth development.

Prior to this appointment Miller was self-employed as an organizational consultant and executive coach, co-designing and facilitating the development of conservation organizations.

As executive director, Miller will be responsible for working with the board to develop and implement a long-term strategic plan. Jennifer is in her first year of residency with a focus on internal medicine in Boise, Idaho, and his son, Aubrey, is teaching at the University of Otago in New Zealand.
