Victoria County could hire outside firm to seek grants for Harvey recovery

Victoria County commissioners expect to hire an outside firm to help acquire federal funds to repair Harvey-damaged roads, bridges and other infrastructure.

County commissioners are scheduled to authorize a plan to seek an outside firm to assist the county in applying for funds at Mondayas commissioners meeting.

Victoria County plans to seek about $3.5 million in grants, said County Judge Ben Zeller.
