Hampton Roads Community Foundation



Founded originally as the Norfolk Foundation, the Hampton Roads Community Foundation began in 1950 with total donations of $2,350. The foundation has always had a regional focus - giving scholarships and grants across southeastern Virginia to ambitious students and essential nonprofits.

Over the past 70 years we have put more than $301 million into action through grants and scholarships, more than $19 million in 2019 alone.
