Grant Purpose - EURONATURA has taken the lead in assisting Spanish and Portuguese environment and development nongovernmental organizations in their work on reform of each country's export credit agencies. The main goal of this project is to encourage the Portuguese and Spanish export credit agencies to require environmental impact assessments of all proposed projects, disclose relevant information, and adopt environmental and social criteria for their project financing. This grant increase will cover additional costs associated with the production of a report on Portuguese and Spanish export credit agencies and increased personnel costs during the grant period extension.
